Luke and I drove up to the venue and were immediately excited as we spotted zebras, caribous, and other exotic animals prancing around the property. I mean, any couple who picks a venue like that is sure to be a total blast, yeah? Yeah. Ben and Julia are pure fun. Not to mention totally sweet, and a total dream to work with. Their wedding consisted of a hand-made wooden "huppah" by the groom, a variety of pies brought by various family members and guests (because their wedding date was 3.14.15--national "pi" day!), a Green family flash mob welcoming Julia in, and the most friendly and hilarious wedding party/family members.
Ben and Julia met at Camp Eagle, where they both work and spend most of their time all year-round. Ben even proposed to Julia after a long hike on a hot summer day, totally romantic and perfect for fit the two. So, knowing all of this, I knew they would be down to explore the wilderness a bit when it came time for their intimate couple photos following the ceremony. Their adventurous spirits were so inspiring to Luke and me; we're so grateful to have been a part of their greatest adventure together, and had the opportunity to get to know them a little bit ourselves. This was one wedding I will never forget!
Julia+Ben, thank you so much for allowing us to play a part in your special day. We're so excited for y'all and look forward to seeing all you accomplish as a team!
